if you remove the intercooler setup, pump coolant all of it and the car beeps and tells you ou have low coolant because nothing it there, does it then limit boost at all or go into any safe mode settings?

no ideas?

 

With HP tuners you can turn off the signal for the pump all together. That should help your problem.

 

Are you emptying the tank on the right of the car? If so.. thats the radiator coolant..

The I/C coolant is stored in the filler neck / lines / heat exchanger.

 

i took off the intercooler the pump and all hoses. we had the car setup to run the intercooler all the time as well as the fans. so i do need to go to see fred and turn that stuff off

 

The reason i say that is because the "low coolant" has to do with the Actual radiator tank, not the H/E system.

 

i used to get the low coolant light all the time in the winter for the intercooler coolant. but ill check my coolant level again and see where it is at. but i think maxim x is right ive got to turn off the intercooler pump and fans to set everything correct

But i had hattricks mod when i was s/c, and it sprung a leak, and the entire system leaked out..

I didnt get anything on the DIC though..
