will the JBP header work with a stock DP? if not what would be a good DP to go with?

i understand that nobody likes them and think there trash but its what i got so im gonna go with it till i start my build.

 

look, people are not trash talking the JBP, they are telling you it flows worse than the stock manifold. its literally garbage. if going faster or running better or sounding good mean anything, sell that piece of **** and get something that works.

There was a few people that got decent numbers out them. Think 100%meth said its only good to around 300hp. I honestly wouldn't mind one for my 2.4 had one but it was such a pain I sold it...

 

As stated earlier, it will work with the stock DP but it is worse than the stock manifold. Good luck with your build.

 

To the op listen to people who have a jbp header. Rootbeer and 100%.meth both have ran it. But yes it will bolt up. Though this thread is like a year old lol

Did you see 100meth gains when he put the other header on? It was like 15 hp more or even more.

 

Yes when he switched to a better header. Plus he wasn't a stock m62. He said it was probably good to 300hp. Which lets be honest here is higher than the average hp of an lsj on this forum.
