JBP mild engine

ok guys heres the question i was in contact wit usd motorsport or w.e and i asked them if i could run a 100 shot on the mild crate engine and they said with easy, now is this true??

i'm just very confused why JBP as a mild engine supposely rated at 300 whp which is kinda basically what the lsj engine is stock right ??

no. the LSJ is 205whp stock.

then why is everyone running like around 270 wit staged kits and stuff

stage 2 = 241 plus cai, and full exhaust is around 270 i believe and change your pulley from 3.0 to 2.8 and that also helps...........

also if u read it say the engine can handle 300 whp it doesn't produce 300whp if u buy it

of course guys i know u have mods and blah blah i'm trying to understand what the JBP mild engine what it does i know if u go and buy that engine its not just gonna give u 300 whp u have to add like nitrous or turbos to it

I dont think anyone really knows for sure what the stock internals can handle, on the site it does say get everything necessary to produce a 300WHP capable build, so i guess its capapable of handling 300whp safely.

yeah. with this little engine that could, it all about how you get there. and keeping the heat down
