Glasspacks aren't restrictive at all which is why they are so loud when they are used by there self, I plan to run a my magnaflow with a cherrybomb glasspack inline as a resonator.

if you want loud and potentially raspy sound, go for a glass pack. besides that, any straight through resonator will work

Glasspack will not give you a raspy sound at all, Glasspacks are known to absorb high pitched sounds which make them perfect as resonators.

To many people bash glasspacks when they dont know what they are talking about

yea like i said i wasnt for sure about the glass packs...they are popular at muffler shops and would probably work well in conglomeration (big word i know haha) with a muffler.

i've personally heard 4 bangers with glasspacks. raspy. im not bashing, just going from experience. but i suppose combo'd with a baffled muffler could help.

im still trying to figure out what muffler i'd want to run with this. anyone getting gains off 3" cat backs? obviously high in the power band but im talking down low. i figured with a 3" our ss/sc's would suffer a little down low

im going with a magnaflow w/glasspack resonator, i think the tip is 3" maybe 3.5", is the sound with a silencer in the muffler too loud to be legal?

But its not gona be ez alot of patience and they get very close to the fire wall i made a custom heat sheild for them as they almost melted some wires under the hood. Either way well worth the labor the come with hex bolts i went and got my own the hex bolts get a little crazy when installing .

If you want to buy this for the sound, go for it. But I know of one person who did before and after dynos and LOST power with this header. Just look at it! Does it look like a header that would flow well? lol
