JBP vortex header

Does anyone here have the JBP vortex header? how do you like it?

Fail. The guys who bought it like because they spent so much money on it. No one has proven any clear HP gains with it.

i have installed one of these. i personally would never buy one because the primaries are tiny as hell. i have the exact same sound from my CIA 4-2-1 header and my primaries are significantly bigger.

install is a pain in the ******* ass, and the header actually touches the AC line. leave it to JBP.

reason why im asking is i have the JBP header ( i got it for 200 so i couldnt backout) .

i have

JBP header
Cti dp ( open 3 inch close 2.5)
Vibrant cat-back ( 3inch)

should i switch my header and dp for the vibrant header and dp combo???

stu, you said that the jbp has the same sound as the clear image. Are you referencing the tone or the boxer-style firing sound that it makes?

yeah if it still sounds like a boxer motor ur car it gona blow soon so get ready for it... just what usualy happens in the sti sound right b4 ur car go's into death mod.

an unequal length header will also give it that STI sound? why do you think STI's sound the way they do? unequal length pipes

Yes 1 5/8" is too small for a built tuned LSJ.... 1 3/4" is a good size

get the pacesetter ceramic coated header, flows great, no fitment issues, just need to weld a flange onto the dp

it sounds so good.... but yeah, the AC line thing is totally fail, so is the install time.

by built you mean internals or just bolt-ons becuase i got bolt ons and tune
