Jerky acceleration

Just installed OTTP stage 3 last night. started right up and idles fine. test drove it and it seemed like sometimes when getting on it it would be jerky intermittently. Me and the guy who installed it think the computer is maybe just learning the fuel trim and it would take a couple of days and it would clear up. does this make sense? anybody else have this issue?

are you going WOT or just partial throttle? Are you full throttle the taking off your foot from the gas and its jerky?

Josh is a GREAT TUNER... lets get this figured out before you go and say that. the tune is somewhat rich but nothing crazy... its a great tune... let me put it this way. josh has not blown up one motor... He knows his ****.

But yes I'm not sure and we are in the process of figuring it out. He think the MAF may just need to be tuned a little more

exact issue i have been dealing with all morning since i installed the kit

i was able to get it driveable by changing the TPS input...my old tune had 98%, the TVS tune was calling for .2

but when i go WOT it is pulling cray timing and the MAF gets realy funky

Don't worry guys were working out the kinks and once we do it will be GREEEEEEEEEEEAT... Im almost guessing it may have to do with the newest version of Beta out from HPT... Im going to do some tuning with Josh tmrw and hopefully we figure it out

Josh tunes the TPS back to stock just because its a friendlier setting with the foot. We were playing with changing it from stock settings to 100 in all and that isn't the issue

i called OTTP all day, but no answer, same with Josh's cell

the TPS helped with the jerking but no dice on it pulling timing and that MAF flipping out, at times it felt like it wouldnt rev past 4-5k

Hes trying his best they've been crazy busy at work!!!! Plus Josh has been trying to fight the flu, so bare with him ha

Were trying to get it fixed ASAP so everything will be perfect, mine was the first one that he had seen have an issue. So we've been trying to track this bastard down to exactly whats causing the jerk ect.

It's gotta be something with the MAF, or tables for the 80's IMO

got the updated tune file loaded in and is doing much better than before, however it is still way too much fuel and showing signs of knock and misfire because of it

over 5K it falls on its face and gets jerky, also will get a slight hicup and get jerky every now and then

sent a couple of logs to Josh for his review...

the shop that did all my M62 tuning shut down so i am relying on OTTP to get this figured out

i have no problem helping OTTP develop this product, but lets pull our resources together to get it figured out as it is just now able to be driven.

A+ on caring about the customer even after you have his money. most companies like to take the money and run.
