jimbofugs unofficial/ parts list
So this is my first car that's boosted. I have been around cars all my life and I know quiet a bit. In the aspect of supercharging is there anything special that I should or not do? I traded my sport balt for an 07 ss supercharged. This will be my dd so I'm staying moderate on mods
As my ideas for mods are:
Zzp stage 2;
3 inch pulley and 42 lb injectors
Shortly header
Flowmaster muffler
Wideband
I believe that's all I can think of. Would I need to run meth on a dd? An if there's anything I'm missing let me know. I'm also cleaning the supercharger once its warm

Whats your plan for 'cleaning' the supercharger?
The dos and donts are generally to change it out for a turbo haha.
As for the header which brand are you getting? I had bad leaks with two badmabs.
The real things to switch are the downpipe and then theres a kink in the pipe right before the muffler. If youre looking for gains id swap the downpipe and maybe get some straight pipe welded in place of the afformentioned section before the muffler. Zzp makes good exhaust components for the price.

That's not too bad price wise. How's Tue power on a 2.8 pulley? And I didn't want to go to small for a daily I wanted to get some decent mpg. I'm looking for wideband and such

the price will be the same no matter what size you go with, injectors or pulley. i do about 50/50 city/rural driving and i go wide open throttle nearly every time i have to accelerate. i manage 20-22 mpg this way. not great, but i really dont care much about mileage.
im on a 2.8 and 60s and it is my daily. but, if you just want a 3.0 and 42s, theres no reason you shouldnt go that route. you can always upgrade later, and 42s are easier to deal with and more forgiving on throttle changes than 60s. 60s dont idle the best and can be a bit bumpy cruising through parking lots in 1st gear. just something to keep in mind, but its definitely manageable.

Update: I have a ottp oversized pulley tensioner and a 3" zzp pulley and hub on the way. Still looking for a few things but it's a good start.

I have finally got my stage kit pieced together. Got my Siemens 43lbs injectors and the other stuff I've mentioned before. I've wideband installed for a few months now. I know what the car likes to run stock.
