Joining The GM Stage 2 Club.

Just dropped my car at the dealership this morning. Gonna be throwing in the GM Stage 2 Kit, and I'm gonna be doing an airbox mod tonight hopefully. Wish me luck!!

$800 CAN. It was a little more than a 100 bucks when compared to crateenginedepot, so I said what the heck I'll just get it from my dealer. He said bout 2.5 hrs to install, which I figured was reasonable.

Did you get stage II plus the install for $800 total?

If so, I like the sound of that deal.

no no...I got the kit for $816 and the install is a little under $250 plus taxes. So I'm gonna have a $1200 hole in my bank acct. when it's all done with. And I'm happy.

I was talking Canadian Dollars bro... $550US is about $700CAN. I didn't mind paying the extra 100 bucks to get it straight from the dealer.

If you don't mind me asking...How much did you pay for your tint? Is it really dark?

Thanks in advance.

hmmm...well now I guess it's too late. I figured the guys at this dealership have been pretty good to me, so if the price wasn't too far off, I would take it. Oh well.

GM stage 2 is such a waste of money if you buy OEM and have dealer install it. Honestly its not worth 1200 dollars to shave half a second off your quarter mile. And dont bring up warranty cause i doubt any Gm dealership will willing accept your car without some kind of abuse claim.

I have to disagree. Going from a stock time of 14.2 @100mph and improving after Stage II and GMP exhaust running a 13.6 @108mph was well worth it. 14.2 to 13.6 is a big differance when it comes to racing. To be honest a few tenths faster you can really notice the differance. The following mods cost me less then $1,600.00 US cash.

Ingalls TD - 100
GMP Touring Exhaust 450
Stage II 550
GMP Manifold 200
Injen CAI - 200

you cant say "dont bring up warranty" because you DOUBT it.
the documented evidence says your doubt is wrong.

Thanks R&C_rallySS.

Hey Jayson...maybe you or few others may have had some bad luck, but so far my dealership has been pretty good with me. So I'll just have my fingers crossed and hope that everything stays that way. I prefer to keep my car as close to GM parts for now and maybe when my warranty is done, I'll think about other stuff.

Damn man! Where did you get the Touring exhaust for $450. The cheapest I've seen is CED for $530. Is this through a dealership?

My dealership quoted me around $530CAN for the Touring Exhaust and $460CAN for the Performance Exhaust.
