Just another turbo swap thread

Hey guys I have begun the turbo swap process, and I just wanted to keep you guys updated on everything as it goes along. Right now I'm just in the process of getting all the parts together before I start to rip the engine apart. Right now I am in the making of a custom manifold from Vulcan Turbo, which I will post pics of soon. Also I am going to be running a T3/T70 turbo which was just recently ordered as well. I am looking to have the whole build complete by the first of the year, but we will see what happens. Keep looking in here for updates as i will update it as much as i can.

I used a -4an for the feed and a -10 for the return line.
as for a boost controller I have a turbosmart single stage manual. works pretty good

cool, thats what i figured for the oil lines but wasn't 100% sure, and i havent even thought of the return line yet, but soon it will be looked at. I am going to look into that boost controller now to see if I like it, but it sounds good.

i am HOPING to be done with the turbo swap by the first of the year, since i dont't drive my car in the winter i will have more time to work on it, so i hope it will get done quick, and yes it should be a good improvment. When are you looking to be done with you build?

I want my car back by Feb. 28th, '08. The operative words are "I want".
Having said that, I found out yesterday that my custom crank is scrap and it is now 3 weeks before the new one is shipped.
