Just bought stage 2 YEAA!! One more on ebay!!

YAY!! I bought stage 2!!!!!!! I bought it from 1littlefastcar (the person who has sold alot of members kits on ebay) he had 4 kits up forsale last night. 2 of the kits were 410$ SHIPPED!!! I got one for 410 and now there is only one left for 430$ shipped! THAT IS A HELL OF A DEAL!! So go to ebay and type in cobalt stage and you will see!! Just thought I would give someone the heads up!

Stage 2 for me FTW now I need to buy a 2.9 pulley and finish off my exhaust!

I cant wait. I had my car forsale just 2 days ago and something slapped me in the face and said "dont sell it you damn moron, just "TRY" to make it fast" lol soo I decided to keep it. I know I will need alot more than stage 2 to be "fast" but I have to start somewhere!

I like my warrenty and I work at a GM dealership. My service manager has told me many times that I can mod my car just as long as the parts are GM. He has also given me the Ok to do full exhaust. If I were to get 60 pounders and 2.7 pulley my service manager would NOT be happy. I know they would have to prove that the 60 pounders and 2.7 pulley were the cause of whatever went wrong, but I really dont want them to have to prove anything, I just want them to fix what ever is wrong. (Hopefully nothing does go wrong with my car though )

It will take me 5 min to put the s2 pulley on with the GM hub if the car needed work. Rather than how ever long it would take me to swap back to stock injectors/pulley/tune if I went with a custom set up.

word of advice.... when you get home from the install of the Stage 2... break the bolts loose then tighten them again

I work at the dealership it will be installed at and I will be helping the mechanic do the install. And there will not be locktite applied to the bolts! But thanks for the heads up Syp .

Off topic* You find another GTP yet?

His seller name is 1littlefastcar or 1fastlittlecar I cant remember exactly lol . I usually post up a link to his auctions when they go up to give members a heads up. He had 4 forsale last night, 2 were priced at 380$ plus shipping and 2 for 400$ plus shipping. And they were all sold in under 20 hours. I will keep my eyes open for ya!

Yep I ordered mine last week from the same guy for $410. Shipping was great too, it got here
2 days earlier then the tracker from fed ex said, so it only took 4 days to get in. Id highly recommend this buyer. and anyone using a 2.8 inch pulley with the stage 2???

There are a few guys out there running a 2.8 on the S2 tune but it is not reccomened. The common trend here is that S2 is good for a 2.9, anything smaller and you need to get bigger injectors and different tune.

There are some members here that have the 2.8 with S2 tune and have not had any problems. I just dont think it is a great idea. More than likely your injectors will be going static with a 2.8 (static = sticking wide open). And you will be creating alot of heat with a 2.8 and heat will kill performance not help.

So you guys get GM to install the stage 2 then when you get home you install the 2.9 pulley? Sorry if that sounds like a newb question, but I am atleast towards the Cobalt. I'm tryin to help a buddy with his Cobalt and I don't want to mess it up.

Well yea i knew id have to do some cooling mods. Id really like to have the Cobalt-addiction heat exchanger, but im worried about the install because i have never done something like that personally. and shops around me are not only to oustanding with work on stuff like that, but they are oustanding in labor costs. but a more simple one would be the dual pass intercooler plate.
