Just dynoed

I might be getting out of my 07 balt and getting into a 2010 so i figured id dyno my car at this show today. I needed to shut up all the vdub and honda kids.

Made 227 whp and 200 wtrq with a non working intercooler pump and no intercooler fluid.

Apparently the dyno was reading 10-15 hp low too.... must have a Frankenstein balt. Then steve came in his 08 balt and put down 297 whp and 350 wtrq. Lets just say the "new cavaliers" got some attention today.

MWAAHAH

i'd put a solid 260 whp ss/sc over that ss/tc all day, there is more to being fast then just having the highest numbers

Was the show at Kinetic in Hampstead? I planned on going but I had to go to my girlfriend's family get together.

That was the show at Kinetic. The 2010 is white and has pretty low miles.

So would you take a tune only E85 ss/tc with better suspension over a fully bolted and tuned 260whp ss/sc?

I'm kidding, but seriously.

what relevance does this post have to the OP's story other than to start another LSJ>LNF discussion. he was not comparing it to any LSJ with 260HP and obviously when there's a crowd of ricers hanging around waiting for dyno numbers to decide who has the best ride, the LNF's numbers did the trick..

your post =

Not quite sure his relevance, but on our dyno day in VA I had an LNF dyno 47whp over me but back to back fun later than night made him go WTF.

He's a forum member too .

My point is the powerband and gearing throws numbers vs. numbers for a loop. Maybe that was his.

Back to your regularly schedled LSJ/LNF pissing match.

For all the reading impaired, his original comparison was numbers, saying that since the lnf has higher numbers he wants it, im saying there is more to being fast then having the highest numbers.....

All you lnf guys need not get your panties in a twist, the comparison involves alot more then a turbo vs an sc

If anyone is confused this wasnt a lnf vs lsj comparison thread. I was just explaining how me and Steve made the euro and honda kids heads kinda turn when the 2 "cavys" got up on the rollers. Me wanting to get a 2010 was just kind of a back story. And i want it cause its white and i love it not just because it has higher power numbers.

Damn wish I'd know about it. You could have gotten a real cavy to get on there and put down a good bit over 200 wheel.

Not like I havent made half those same guys poop themselves on the highway anyways.
