just noticed a slight problem

ok so i bought my 06 ss/sc on 1-5-12, i just noticed yesterday, that my supercharger cooling reservoir was not moving any coolant when the car was running. i picked up some dex-cool and started pouring some in. and then finally started seeing it flow. it took a little over half gallon. i haven't noticed any problems with the performance of the car and i checked for leaks and haven't seen any.

everything seems to be running smooth now, and its flowing good, but could this have caused any problems internally? like over heating of manifold and cracking or something along those lines.

luckily since its been cold out and a little bit of snow i have not been in boost much at all. and have put 2000 miles on it. with no problems.

as long as coolant temps were not too high for prolonged periods of time, and your engine cooling fans are in good working order...your engine is good :

no, the coolant was moving after i filled it, it was just really low to the point it was not going from the end-plate into the heat exchanger. since it has to go to the highest point which was the reservoir it was not flowing past that. after i filled it, it flowed fine. but took nearly an entire gallon to fill it up.
