knocking noise in suspension

When I let my clutch out from a stop, I can hear a single knock coming from the engine compartment. Basically most of the time, when I apply torque to the wheels from a stop I get the knock, and sometimes into second gear. Anyone else have this problem? Also I have a K&N intake, and I got a cel last night, but I don't know if its from the intake or the 104 octane unleaded race fuel I put in. I disconeccted my battery today and the cel came on about 25 minutes after I reconected the battery. Anyone get a cel from UNLEADED race gas, or is it probably from the intake. Also the cel came on as I was parking from a run down the track.

Sounds like it could be something serious/dangerous. I would have the dealership look it over.

Are you serious? What should I tell the dealership I was doing when it happened (racing at the track) but won't they refuse service if I say that?

Don't mention the race gas or race track, some dealerships are ******** about fixing, what they believe to be, an abused car. But I don't think it was from your driving.

That's really bad. You might want to lower the RPM's you're launching at.
