Well you have to have a good electrical connection with the TB, and you also have to retune your Scalar Area for the increased airflow related to the throttle body.

IMO, the bigger TBs are a crap idea for the average person.

Lots of people are hating on the throttle body. I'm going to test it out over the winter and see if it's worth the upgrade. I'll do dyno testing. Lots of other cars do throttle body upgrades and no one complains as much as we do on the cobalt forums. I'm having trouble seeing just why it isn't worth the upgrade.

tune and spacer unless you want to port the s/c inlet to allow the throttle body blade to open more than 10%. which is your problem right now.

oh yea, I forgot about that porting to let it open more. LOL. That would definitely be the problem.

No way, you mean you can't open the throttle body blades, even though they are bigger than the supercharger opening.

x2, if you idle at 2000rpm, somethings not normal. But... if it doesnt bother you then I guess that doesnt matter, beacuse it shouldnt really hurt your car to idle high, just hurt fuel consumption.

Sorry dude...that's retarded if you didn't port your inlet.

Your tune is bad. Idle should be near 1k. 900 is mine.

Um...why? It's just sketchy on rough pavement it jerks like a heroin strung out hooker...otherwise it's good stuff. Definitely more power (or getting to it earlier), I clearly went from wheel hop to wheel spin when I swapped to this t/b with a 2.9 (didn't change the pulley).

updated: TB is off until i can get a tune. I have a sick tune just have to adjsut the idle scaler, i have a spacer just was running in with fitment issues with my injen so i ordered a fujita problem solved there intake seem to flow into the TB rather then stop at the headlight like injen.

With the bigger TB my car sounded like a monster way different but imma wait till i can get to some one to adjsut my scaler
