well, got hockeymans blower, a new valve cover, intake mani gasket, intake mani bolts, and a few sensors on the way. we'll see if all this helps ease my issues and helps me sleep at night
also gonna try a deadsoft aluminum gasket for my v-band setup to hopefully end that nightmare of a leak. what else... oh yeah new belt and idler pulley that's been squeaking for a while. umm... yeah

well here was my weekend
got hockeymans blower. repainted it.

a little red splatter...
got a new valve cover with matching paint job now too

took off my blower and intake mani, as well as my idler pulley that i was planning to replace but turns out noone sells one so i had to just lube it up and put it back on (what a pain in the ass btw)
turns out my silencer hole plugs had indeed come loose and idk where they are
i shook my manifold and nothing was shaking around in there. i just changed my oil and there was no wierd debris. yolo? they must be jammed in some crevice in the mani lets hope they never come free.

also not gonna spray meth pre-blower anymore. since that probly had a hand in destroying my rotor coatings.
hockeymans blower has been this way for a while plugged so i'm gonna press forward feeling safer.
what else.. so yeah my v-band clamp had broke, got a new one, it doesn't fit right. ordered a new cat from zzp and a new clamp since the flanges were warped on mine anyway.
also when i started my car yesterday i noticed a significant amount of coolant leaking. the bleeder bolt on top of the head was leaking. i go to tighten it up a bit and low and behold, the bolt head snaps clean off
so now i gotta find a new one, tom from CED says they are discontinued. and i gotta get the thread out of the head now too. loootsa fun.
what else... oh yea got a set of TC wheels over the weekend. getting them powdercoated a similar dark silver color like my last wheels.

I always warn people about that retarded sound mod, yet people still plug the silencer holes.
I'm glad you learned, and hopefully everything will be fine for ya from now on man.

If the coating is already gone, keep the meth spraying. At this point, it's helping you.
For the steam pipe fitting, you can get an adapter from summit or jegs to -6 an which slips right over the barb on the coolant take. Just need rubber core -an hose and a pretty sheilded hose clamp.

Thanks for the advice man. hockeymans blower rotor coatings are still there so i'ma not spray on this one. maybe i'll mod the mani later for it since thats more where you need the meth anyway

Oookay!
So I got my steamline bolt and all is well.
Also got my new downpipe (which unexpectedly came with a new header?! Umm thanks zzp?)
This dp has a 200 cell cat instead of a 400 cell. Bolted up amd for the firdt time in the three years ive owned the car, I have no exhaust leaks!!! #soexcited
Csrs driving good and wow such fast much driver races

yes! it may be because they updated their design a bit because the new downpipe flange was slightly smaller in outer diameter compared to my old header...
idk should i be a good guy and ask them if they meant to send it, or should i be cool and sell the new header with my old, slightly leaky downpipe?
