no not really the installation is fairly sinmple, the timeing chain is not really that hard to get on or off, its you just want to make sure all the timeing marks on the teeth of the gears line up. if you dont and its off just a tooth, you can bend a valve because it will stay down in the CC to long and hit the top of the piston. my recomendations is to have someone there that has done it before, or take lots of pictures and buy a sharpie to mark things. also use plenty of cam lube or a high veicosity of oil on the cam's when you install them. I mean like really coat it. if you do use cam lube use federal mogul cam lub, its a greenish tint. and be sure to change your oil 300 miles or soo after installation to get all the cam lube out of the system. Oh and a little off topic but how much is your CTI exhaust goin for =)

JBP cams FTW!

I would hold off on the JBP cams for right now. A few people have them and have had nothing but problems with them, myself included. I'm not saying that they won't produce, but to this point they have not proved to be a prime performance enhancer.

they sell a tool that can keep the timing chain in place while your doing the swap be sure to get this because i had a firend try and do it with out it and ended up bending the valve and rebuilting the whole engine so i would think twice about it
