I like it alot. It is noticable but not annoying when driving casually. When you want to get on it though, its quite noticable. The sound is nice and deep. There is some rasp now, but that is due to my header and downpipe.

do u guys think $2400 is good for satge 2 with catback and cai from dealer installed sounds kinda pricey to me they said on average i bumps it upto 270hp

the tech told me the stock header is good for atleast 400hp so no need to change but what is the purpose of the down pipe

DO NOT LISTEN TO THOSE GUYS!

Basically everything they have said to you is screwy.

I could see you paying $1500 for all of that. The stock exhaust manifold is not good for airflow, neither is the stock downpipe.

yeh GM stage two is going to run you 1200ish dollar but talk to the dealer and see if they have done one before or not. For the exhaust i don not recommed the GMPP header cause it is not very much better than the stock one. If you want to go with the touring GM piping or whatever that is fine but do a ZZP header downpipe combo. You will not only hear the different but you will also hear the different in power. GM is good but only so good..

dont get the gmpp parts unless your scared of voiding your warranty. even though their parts are made for performance they are still restricitve, heavy, and expensive. better deals can be found on the vendor sites and even members selling used parts

Corsa Touring has been a popular choice for the top end exhaust systems.

thats a load of **** he just gave you. Stock manifold is one of the most restrictive parts on the car. The last thing you need is a CAI if you're just going for pure performance. And 270 hp is a slight stretch. I say, stage 2 installed by them for warranty purposes mainly, but header and downpipe then catback after and get it all installed by a local import shop if you don't do it yourself cause dealer's gonna rape you on the cost.

good competitive prices:
stage 2 = $550
stage 2 install < $250
Good long tube or midlenth w/ catalytic conver and downpipe = $600
GMPP catback < $550
Exhaust Install by import shop < $300

altogether, less than $800 for stage 2 and install, and less than $1450 for full exhaust and install.

You're looking at $2250 maximum (thats counting an extra $400 difference from a $200 intake and $600 header and downpipe) you should probably be paying, and that will get you 270 hp (not whp), airbox mod is good enough to get some sound out of your car and extra 2hp, but intake doesn't produce any gains. I'm pretty sure Time Attack car used stock intake.
