Looking For New Exhaust Suggestions
um price doesnt really matter cuz i know somebody thats doin it for cheap for me....but i just need some suggestions.......and i really dont have power goals yet haha, i just wanna start up w/ some exhaust first
do u guys think $2400 is good for satge 2 with catback and cai from dealer installed sounds kinda pricey to me they said on average i bumps it upto 270hp
the tech told me the stock header is good for atleast 400hp so no need to change but what is the purpose of the down pipe

DO NOT LISTEN TO THOSE GUYS!
Basically everything they have said to you is screwy.
I could see you paying $1500 for all of that. The stock exhaust manifold is not good for airflow, neither is the stock downpipe.

From one of our most reliable vendors: http://www.crateenginedepot.com/stor...P1540C196.aspx
yeh GM stage two is going to run you 1200ish dollar but talk to the dealer and see if they have done one before or not. For the exhaust i don not recommed the GMPP header cause it is not very much better than the stock one. If you want to go with the touring GM piping or whatever that is fine but do a ZZP header downpipe combo. You will not only hear the different but you will also hear the different in power. GM is good but only so good..
dont get the gmpp parts unless your scared of voiding your warranty. even though their parts are made for performance they are still restricitve, heavy, and expensive. better deals can be found on the vendor sites and even members selling used parts
how much for a package for a 07 cobalt ss/sc-i want a stage 2 kit, some type of touring catback exhaust, aem/injen cai, Ingalls Stiffy Engine Torque Dampener to start.
ya but $800 for a corsa touring that a bit much for me

good competitive prices:
stage 2 = $550
stage 2 install < $250
Good long tube or midlenth w/ catalytic conver and downpipe = $600
GMPP catback < $550
Exhaust Install by import shop < $300
altogether, less than $800 for stage 2 and install, and less than $1450 for full exhaust and install.
You're looking at $2250 maximum (thats counting an extra $400 difference from a $200 intake and $600 header and downpipe) you should probably be paying, and that will get you 270 hp (not whp), airbox mod is good enough to get some sound out of your car and extra 2hp, but intake doesn't produce any gains. I'm pretty sure Time Attack car used stock intake.
they say injen cai gives approx. 15-19hp and 17trq is that true?
i gotten results from previous cai i think it was aem or maybe i just imagined i was goin faster lol
