What if a cat jerks you off?

Is that assisted suicide?

How do the clamps look on the exhaust? Is the nut and bolt that you use to tighten the clamps on the side or on the top or bottom?

That is really strange, when i first got my exhaust installed i thought i lost some low end torque, but it was just a mind trick, the gmpp exhaust was so much louder i didnt realize i wasnt stepping on the gas hard. In order to get noise like that on the stock exhaust u wouold hve to give it pretty decent amount of throttle. Then i opened her up and it pulled hard as *****. So i dk man mabey something is wrong with your exhaust, or mabey its all psychological.

you know what i noticed was the car was way better to drive with stock downpipe and stock exhaust with a header , rather than 3 in header back exhaust

Well 3" is way to big for the amount of flow the engine produces, so at low load when under vacuum, the engine will be struggling to push all its exhaust out. I know that sounds crazy, but exhaust to large has more room for the exhaust gas to cool down, thous flowing slower.

I'm not sure. I'm going to check it out later today when I install the manifold. Is there a certain way they go?

They should be off to one side, preferably with the nut facing the ground that way its easy to tighten. If you look how the recieving flanges are cut on the exhaust the clamp needs to squeeze the top and the bottom together, therefore your bolt needs to be on one side, not the top or bottom.

It also shows you how to place them in the instructions that come with the exhaust

I figured the car would be faster just from the disproportionately lightened wallet from their uber-expensive exhaust systems. something must be wrong.

I mean, most mods power comes from how much you spend on them , so the GMPP should be the best.

Yeah, I'm going to have to look it over tonight. I'm disappointed right now. I kinda wish I had my stock exhaust back on right now. It pulled nicer.

Other than a custom I believe GMPP is the least expensive out of all the exhausts.

I didn't throw them away until I was finished. I really didn't read the instructions. I looked at the how to. I might try that whole direction thing sometime.

your cat is hitting the undercarriage. hapened to me its best to keep it all loose and tighten from fron to back.. i saw an increase in my car but im also staged and have an intake so i guess the more fuel and air you throw to it the better the increase you see.

Weird how you feel you lost power. Even the Administrator got like 12WHP out of it.

the more open the exhaust is... less low-end but more top-end

stock exhausts are tuned for more low-end, less top end.
