Loud rattle!

So yeah, ive seached the forums and found a few ideas of what it could be but nothing solid. Ive been getting a loud rattling noise from the engine bay on cold starts. I took it to the dealer, they told me it was my supercharger and needed to be replaced. went to zzp got the s/c and replaced it. guess what? still rattling. its mostly on cold starts and goes away when it warms up around to 130-160 temp.

just went outside and it started up at 88 temp with no rattle. help?!?!

DId you order the sc from zzp offline or were you in person at their shop and buy it, bc what you just said you went their had it replaced and still makes the same sound. Highly doubt you were there. Ever hear of the notorious timing chain tensioner fail on these cars? Something you should've replace a long tme ago.

First, why the hell would you go spend $800 on a new supercharger before checking for lesser problems (don't listen to the dealership, if they know you don't know what's wrong they will change anything they can to make you pay for it). Second, you shouldn't go WOT when you first start the car. You need to let the engine get to operating temperature and also let the oil warm up before you start mashing the gas. Could be a bad bypass valve that doesn't show up till it warms up some.

Post a video of the rattle. Otherwise it's just a guessing game.
