loud Sqeel coming from SC

So I just had a custom stage 2 installed with HP tuners...(not by a dealership.. )..the kit that I got did not include the stage two belt though...i am running a 2.8 pulley...I have noticed that when I am in netural and rev the car to higher RPM's I hear a loud squeel that seems to be coming from the SC....is this because I am not running the stage two belt? Or could it be something else? Also...when running through a gear sometimes i can tell there is some lag that the SC takes to catch on and pull...

any suggestions would be helpfull...Thanks

Also, anyone that has a belt I could buy please PM me...

You will need the stage 2 belt or belt tensioner.

lol its all good..I'm using the intense 2.8 pulley...so I should be good with just a stage two belt??

So with this tensionaer I can just keep my current belt?? Hmm I would think it would be just better to go with a samller belt though

No... You really need to get the Stage 2 belt. Also... the smaller the pulley... the harder it is for the engine to turn that S/C... SO, you are going to get some Blower Lag down in the lower RPM's until the engine makes enough power to turn that blower a little bit better.
