LSD question

im taking out my tranny to replace the clutch and decided to bring the tranny in to have the lsd installed. the tranny shop said i needed to make sure it came with bearings and shims and to make sure if it bolts up to the pinion thats already there. is there a kit out there for installation or does the Quaife lsd already come with it?

To be blunt, it'll probably be easier and cheaper to just buy the G85 trans used. The Quaife LSD is expensive.

I would like to know how much better if any the quaife performs, vs the stock g85 .
Also, which LSD are you installing ? Are you having to have it custom fit ? Does not seem to be a direct application for cobalts.
