yup you have to lower the cradle a bit sometimes but it can be done if you pull them you need either nbs shafts or get a delete kit from level zero motorsports

with the delete kit from zero motorsports, it says they need to be pressed into place. I would say that calls for removal of the block

your speaking of what you have no clue about you dont need to fab **** to press them in all you need is a long extension and a 30mm socket and a hammer lube them up drive them in and yes the engine will spin up alot faster without even faster then nbs

a number of years back i built an l61 with level zero balance shaft delete. now i did have the entire rotating assembly balanced, however running at idle i could set a glass of water on the valve cover and there was hardly any ripple in it. at certain rpm you may notice some slight vibration, but we arent talking anything huge.

You can lower the motor down enough on the drivers side to get them out of there without pulling the whole engine.

Honestly though, if you have a place to work on it, and are going that far in, just pull the engine and build it on the ground. Then put it all back together nice and clean and re-install. Whole ******* lot easier to build the motor on a stand than in the car and make it nice and clean and perfect.

How To: Balance Shaft Delete

and take some advice replace the chains while you are at it there was almost a half inch difference between the new main timing chain and the old chain the acc chain was a 1/4 in shorter then the old chain

Ok now ur sayin to lower the back down...I was thinkin to take the front mount off and lower the passenger side of the cradel and motor to slide the shafts under the body through the wheel well

My mistake, I meant to say passengers side. Distracted slightly at the moment. You are correct.

I've done it both ways, just much easier to button everything up on the stand then drop the whole thing back in.
