Lsj guys with meth

Might sound like a dumb question i got the devils own stage 2 kit with 2.5 gallon tank. My friend said that the methanol can eat the internals of the motor. Is this true? Lol

Methanol evaporates almost instantly as is injected and no, its doesn't harm the internal of the engine. In fact, I've seen some results of a cleaner engine, no carbon accumulated.

i sprayed meth for over 25k, when i took my engine apart it looked brand new(except for 2 crakced ring lands but that is unrelated), your not soaking your engine parts in it, its only spraying when in boost so all the meth will be gone from the engine before it has a chance to corrode anything. ( i was running 100%meth as well)

ive ran 100% meth 85 15, 75 25, 50/50 and ect. If you are not tuned for it correctly, yes there could be damage, meaninglike overloading the combustion with excess fuel, and burning ringlands and sleeve walls. So if tuned correctly for it, you will not have a issue. I did have a lsj, and it was by far one of the quickest ive seen. Meaning around me, I was built and i ran meth with a 2.6 pulley and 60s. idcs were in the 60s and sometimes high 50s since i had a afr of 12.5 at the top end since i ran meth. I did run 26* of timing and i had 0 kr but it also took me alot of time working on the volumetric efficiency mapping along with the maf mapping. so have your tuner tune you correctly and you will be just fine bro..

take care

I think the aem meth kit is a very good kit, and ive tuned plenty of cars with them. If you want a kit that will stand out alot from the others is a meth kit called alkyinjection.com. order from them or call them up to get info. i ordered a kit from them for my friends syclone and typhoon builds and by god it was by far the best setup for them, just because i didnt have to dripp or tap. Call them if you are interested, they should be able to feel you in on a good meth selection

cometic head gasket = ****.

more meth you run the more timing your car can hold. I ran 80/20 for a long time.

toyed around with 90/10 too. that was fun.

Just after meth on 50/50. TVS, 3.1 pulley and 60's.

90/10 meth mix with the same mods.
