My only comment is, even though you are making the same power TVS and K04, that TVS car is going to pull on that K04 car. The powerband is the difference. K04 is a really peaky powerband. Like a mountain. Just check the dyno thread. Supercharged cars have such a flat powerband.

Just depends on what you want though really.

yes to match it to the upgraded compressor wheel, that way i don't have to worry about compressor surge.

Now if you take the time to piece it all together right, like Jimbo here, then nevermind what I said. lol.

hmmmm, good point

do you really think a bigger wheel on the intake side would cause compressor surge?

yes, becuase if the compressor is generating more air than the turbine can expell, it will lead to surge.

are there any other ways to stop compressor surge other then upgrading the hot side compressor wheel? I was looking up some dynos of compressor surge, its pretty nasty stuff

increasing exhaust flow to alleviate the pressure on the turbine wheel, problem is the turbine is usually the restriction.

would definitely help with flow once the gate is open, but would do nothing for surge that is happening pre boost spike.

I dont think the powerband will be as short and spikey on the lsj..but time will tell.

so is the ko4 what's on the turbo cobalts, or does it just have the same design exhaust inlet and that's why you guys are doing the turbo ss manifold?

oh ok

to save money why not just gut the oem intake manifold and use a block off plate?

The bad news, we dont have vvt like the lnf cars or direct injection, these I believe, are two main reasons why the lnf is such a potent platform. btw good lucky finding someone to trade your head for a k04, I have been trying to sell min for over a month for pennies and all I keep getting is low-balled, these ****** kids on here want good parts for basically free
Wait are you selling a head or did you mean the k04? I purchased a bunch from you a year or so ago. If you mean a head pm me with the details I am in the market to either buy a complete semi/full race head or even tempted to do my own. Let me know thanks.
