Without trying to sound like a douche bag...
probably enough complications to where a company had to pay someone a crap ton of money to figure it out, and then charge out the ass to make any kind of profit.

just make a sand rail with a radio and all the benefits that the full pcm has to offer lol
but on a serious note, i have no idea why it wouldnt work
i remember going to silver lake sand dunes near muskegon michigan, they had northstar v8s and ls1/2/6/7 sand rails, they were stupid fast on the sand lol
