is it just hitting the stud or is it actually hitting the cam sensor housing? if its just the stud, swap it out for a normal bolt.

its kinda hard to tell from that pic

you have a few options. could rotate the engine forward in the car. could have a wedge spacer to go between the booster and firewall so it angles the master and booster up. could go with manual brakes. heck, you could put a tilton or wilwood pedal box with individual master cylinders in it.

Just a quick update

Progress is slowly moving forward on the car. I have the exhaust built the tank is back in the car ECU is mounted but still have to make sure that its position does not interfere with the charge pipes. Radiator is back in the car and all plumbed in. Waiting on a few new couplings to come in the mail also am looking to order a brake booster for an aveo and I think that should clear the Cam shaft position sensor. Interior wiring is 90% done have to finish a few small things and I'll be back to modify the dash and putting interior back together. Engine bay wiring is almost done will dress things up after successful start up.

Next i plan to get the front end back together so the car can be set back down then figure out what is going on with the p0230 and no fuel and spark issue im having.

And i forgot i havent even posted a pic of the cavi yet. Here it was a few years ago before the motor went. Dont have those rims anymore and i have a 1.5" drop springs for it too. I am also doing some customized ss side skirts for it and a custom front and rear lip. But those are at the end of the project list. Need to get it back on the road first

Car starts and runs, I have an exhaust leak somewhere so I ordered some new gaskets also have a coolant leak somewhere below the pipes that go to the heater not sure quite what it is yet. Next step is to get the dash done and interior back together while i wait for some parts to show up.

But in the meantime here is a shot of the progress in the past couple days. My only thing im not sure of is what to do in place of the vents. There is no heating or cooling in the car anyone have some good ideas?

Yes its twisted a little moved when bonding but will correct it when im done.
Honestly you could modify the center vents to be a housing for gauges

the 2 gauges id put in- wideband and aeroforce interceptor. the interceptor will tell you boost, and thats something you dont need to monitor all the time anyways. add a fuel pressure sensor to the analog input and there ya go. plus itll monitor the things you really need to watch, like knock retard and iat2 temp.

What about exhaust temp sensor? Pretty helpful on a turbo car. Also if you planned to track a lot if grab a oil temp sensor

You can always put an aeroforce in to monitor your IATs

Ok car is running and kind of driving. Need to get some different injectors but that will have to wait till funds become available. Couple of questions tho. Are all engine bay fuse / relay boxes the same or are the ss' different. Also can anyone help me with a base tune to make the car more drivable just starting to learn how to tune
