LSJ valves
I, like an idiot didn't notice my chain tensioner had not engaged when installing my s2 cams, 82# valve springs, titanium retainers, Viton valve seals and new locks and car had jumped time slightly.
Resulting in what I can assume is a bent valve in cyl #2 rest of cylinders have 120psi compression cylinder #2 has 0psi.
I see ZZP sells stock ecotec valves, turbo tech sells their own valves as well as super tech valves.
Anyone use any of these valves and or have an opinion on which I should go with. Also what's included with changing valves, sleeves?
Any help appreciated thanks, Kevin

If you just need stock valves, you can get them anywhere. Rock auto carries them too I believe.
To change them you need to remove the head and compress the spring, remove the retainers and then the spring. You can rent a valve spring compressor that wraps around the head to remove them. Not too hard to do yourself if you're a little mechanically inclined.
There is no reason to change valve guides or anything else if you just bent a valve due to mis-timing.
However, if the timing was off enough to bend them on one cyl, it should bend them on all cyls. Seems odd.

Thx Joe,
I installed comp cams ZZP s2, ZZP 82# springs titanium retainers new valve seals, locks and timing chain about a month ago and that damn tensioner didn't engage all the way I caught it quick hoping no damage to piston we'll see this weekend.
Ended up going with the supertech high nickel stainless valves from turbotech. Cometic head gasket and arp head studs

I have this, you don't need it but I've done a lot of ecotecs so that's what I have. You can use any generic valve spring compressor, the ones they rent at autozone/advance auto that are like a giant C-Clamp work fine if the head is off the car. I like this one because you can use it to change springs with the engine still together, but since you're changing valves the head is gonna be off anyway.
