M62 Porting
M62 Porting
I was looking around at parts for another vehicle, and came aross this site that offers Eaton SC porting for various Mustangs. They just so happen to do LSJ Eaton porting.
Cobalt SS
Apparenlty they claim that they got a 30+ HP increase with just a ported SC and throttle body, the dyno they posted shows a 36 HP and an 11 ft lb torque increase. I think someone has been tricking the dyno IMO, because I don't see that kind of power happening on just a ported Eaton and TB alone. I could be wrong, and I hope, because if that kind of power increase can be had for $375 then sign me up.
Anymore it seems that no one fools with homemade dremel porting to the SC inlet that people used to do back in the day on the LSJs. I don't think I recall seeing anyone having them professional ported. Is there really anything to gain from porting the SC?
