I was told that the smallest pulley you could put on your supercharger with the GM reflash is a 3.0" pulley because anything smaller would excede the max blower speed of 14K RPM's can anyone tell me if this is true or if we can put the 2.8 inch pulley on?

I been runnin 2.8 with powerpaq for so long now, need more power

 

do believe blower can go to 16K but ya GM uses the 77.9 mm pulley to maximize the supercharger without wearing it out to fast.

So our Gen 5 can handle 16000 contiuous blower speed and we can use a 2.8" pulley? Sorry if this post is a repost i just wanted to make sure on what upgrade kit to buy.
