megan or tsudo?
i am going to buy a catback next month. I was going to do a 2.5" custom with mandrel bent pipes from a mandrel pipe kit site, vibrant resonator and magnaflow muffler. then i did some research and i seen people saying good stuff about megan and tsudo and they are good priced. i dont want to pay 600 bucks for a catback. so i just want see opinions, especially people who did something like that custom set up, megan or tsudo catback. any opinions, info ect. will help!

I have a Clear Image Tri-Y header and a Megan catback. I must say, the Megan is exceptionally well made, very solid, and looks good. It is bolt together instead of clamped, so if you get one make sure you line it up right and torque it together well. Mine had a minor leak since we misaligned it that made it LOUD as hell. After I got that fixed, it is now exceptional.
Very deep and kinda quiet at idle, but give it some gas and it screams.
Seriously though, if you want the most performance gain for your dollar exhaust wise, get a header/downpipe combo. The stock downpipe is your biggest exhast restriction with that nasty bend and downsize in it.

You might consider a solid motor mount and tranny mounts instead/with the traction bars. And you'll have to do a lot more then that to hit 270whp. Meth, 2.8", 60#, and crazy tune. Though cams will make it a whole lot easier.

I have the GMPP Cat back, it was about $420 if I remember right, it sounds good, a deep and mellow tone and it loud enough to hear it inside the car, and from about 1/2 a block away outside, but no ricer pop and cackle, and no bad resonance in the cabin
You might want to look into it. Im not sure what those other systems cost so this might not be as helpful as i think.
