,lol... I've blown more engines than you can count on your fingers and toes there youngin,., what you did to your motor is a baby break.... Split a block, toss a few rods through the side,.. shoot a piston or 2 through the head.... then maybe... lol

Exactly.....Not my fault that guy never learned the difference. Fission is WAY more complex.

I've blown a couple motors, and more trannys than I care to remember (I'm amazed I didn't blow my cobalts tranny). Lets see, I blew up the 700R4 in my pick up, TWICE. Then I blew up the TH350 a couple times, hmmm. I blew up my friends 3 speed on the floor in his old Jeep. Hmmm, I wasted my friends tranny in his saturn (we were trying to break it though ). I'm sure I'm forgetting a couple

No, fusion is more complex. They've been splitting atoms sense world war 2 and fission is what we use in our reactors. The problem with fusion is we don't have anyway to contain or control the process due to the enormous amount of heat generated.

Fission was used in Little Man (gun type) and Fat Boy (implosion, or zero moment detonator, in the movies it looks like a soccer ball with wires coming out of it).

Fusion is what's used in hydrogen bombs. More yield and much more devastating then fissions bombs, thank you arms race!

As far as complexity goes I'm sure both involve equations that would melt your face if you stared at a guy solving them haha. But I'm an ME not an NE, so let those guys deal with it.

GM should just put the T-56, and Manley rods and pistons into everything

Actually the hydrogen bomb used the heat from a tiny fission bomb (looks like a mini-fat man bomb) to fuse two metals which created a hydrogen isotope called tritium or something. The result was a massive burst of neutrons, which then smashed into the uranium jacket of the bomb casing, and causing a ginormous explosion. Basically the hydrogen bomb is a fission - fusion - fission bomb. So pretty much adding the fusion acted as a supercharger... SUPERCHARGERS FTMFW!!!!

Haha, it is all about the triggers. The zero moments explosion for the fission, then the fission trigger for the fusion. Now if we could only apply that to, oh I don't know, making energy, we could maybe not have to cringe when putting the gas in our little cars

I would love to get into this fission/fusion bomb conversation, but I'm not allowed to talk about that sort of stuff. I cannot confirm nor deny any of it!

Moral of the story is not to blame nuclear power for melted pistons.

Bullshit!!! If my reactor core didn't go critical, my number 4 would still be fine!!!

Just because you could build one from a paper clip, pen, and a pile of lead based paint doesn't mean you gotta brag about it

Air Force FT....L?!?!
