meth inj on GM stage 3 100 OCT tune???

do you know if you have to tune to use this meth kit its NOT progressive controlled you just use a certian size nozzle for your hp level? is this correct... my mods are in the sig what my goal is to use my GM STAGE 3 100 OCT tune but with meth being injected instead of having race gas? i was gonna set it to activate at 10psi???

please can someone correct me, but i think the stage3 pcm isnt cracked at this time. so meth may only help keep your car out of det.
i would think it would richen you up too much too, so just use it for water inj.

i think you would have to inject all the time since the pcm expects 100 octane all the time, but i'm not too sure. AIS is a great system tho. but i bet it would work

ya yer right its not cracked but i would only use it in 100oct mode. so it wouldent richen up it would ease up on my ever increasing idc

There is a guy that had the GM Stage 3 and than bought a meth kit, and it actually made his car work worse! I dont think it works very well, plus the meth injection will richen the a/f ratio up even more than it is now I wouldnt be surprised if the a/f was low 10's high 9' with this setup. (not good, GM stage kits run super ricj to begin with)

In my opinion I wouldnt do this route! I looked at the same thing and was recommended against it. I would save the money on the stage 3 and get the meth kit and then get a tune to take advantage of it and to bump your timing up.

the ecu will compensate for the meth inj and ease up on the injectors... and i already have the ecu... was his meth kit home made or something like that? i will have acces to dyno and be monitoring everything so if it actually loses power than the nozzle is to big or it is setup to come on to early...

hmm im suprized people dont have more to say!!!

He was running a brand name methanol injection kit. I am pretty sure the car would require high octane the whole time it is set in that mode. A meth kit will only come on when you are on the gas. However I have not tryed it, worse case you could pick up a meth kit and if it doesnt work well, sell the stage 3 pcm and put that money towards a good tune to take advantage of the meth anyways.

You should search the threads for methanol injection, and then find the user that posted his results and pm him and find out his experience.

gm stage 3 100 oct tune: meth instead of race gas?

for those of you runnng gm stage 3 i will attempt to run the 100 oct tune on meth inj instead of race gas... as you all know to much timing equals detination or knock and the gm ecm switches back to 93 oct once essesive knock is detected... has anyone tried this???
