which mods are next?

right...

current mods

full 3" with 200 cell cat and 4-1 manifold
ported head
+1mm wasted stem valves
dual valve springs
piper cams (266 if i remember correctly)
m62 supercharger
75mm intake pipe with a KnN cone
courtenay sport custom remap
VXR injectors
Full aluminum radiator
full size pre rad with twin fans
custom charge cooler header tank
eagle rods
rebore with low compression bigger weseco pistons
balance deletion
lightened flywheel
4.17 gearbox

now for my next mods i am thinking blower cams.. also a overdrive pulley, however have read bad things about some of these so i will be getting a custom hub made up out of stainless steel which prevents wear and tear to the oil seal

the question is what is next after the crank pulley and new cams?!

standalone ecu and harrop i know off but anything else?

any need for a bigger throttle body?

many thanks for your help

Joe

IMO i wouldnt get the pulley. I havent had it happen to me but i heard bad stories of them not being balanced right and it screws the motor up.

As for the tb...i cant really comment on that, never messed around with it. I seen people make nice gains from porting it. But then people are saying the LS4 is way to touchy.

i have been assured by the company making me a one off pulley that using a stainless steel hub will prevent oil seal failure so will see what happens, if i dont decide to go for it then will get a lightened pulley to go on instead

ls4 is this a bigger throttle body? worth the hassle then or not?

thanks

iiunno, i cant answer that for you. I never had the LS4 TB...some people liked it but most people hated it because its way to touchy...you can play around with the tune to get it to settle down but iiunno. I say just port it. Some guy did on here and gained 6hp just from porting.

i take it that everyone is still heavily against porting the sc!
