Make sure they don't tune it too lean. A lot of shops like the run 12+ AFR on these cars, it's a bad idea. Also wouldn't hurt to have them put in a boost reduction for high IAT2's, as mrbelvedere said, cooling mods only really help with recovery time. I ran a 2.8 pulley for several years without any cooling mods at all and was fine, however I *never* did high speed runs (125-130+) with the car because I was scared to death of blowing the motor.

Yea I bet man I've done a few 125 mph races but maybe one or two. I think I'm going to go with hp tuners for the tune instead of a shop. There's a guy local to me that does it and gave me a good price on the tune also. And 11.5 is a good number to have a the a/f right?

Alright guys!! She's all done this is what I had done. I kept the 42# injectors from my gm stage 2 kit and the ottp gen 4 heat exchanger i already had on the car from december and put a polished 2.9 pulley ( which was omg lighter than the gm stage 2 pulley!) bought a brand new belt to play it safe if I needed one or not. Got a AEM UEGO wideband gauge with the dual gauge pod from zzp . I had Marca34 with Panda tuning, tune my car and got the a/f to 11.7 which is perfect! The car is so much more respondsive and the drive quality is better, the car also pulls a lot harder than it used to, I'm so happy with it and I want to say thanks to everyone's inputs and advice from this thread! Now with tax return ill be doing some engine dress up painting the valve cover and blower, also some billet aluminum parts as well!!
