more HP with turbo swap?

Hey guys im looking into the Cobalt SS/Sc, still saving but was wondering if it would be possible to swap the supercharger with a turbo for more HP gain. would it be worth it since the engine is already built tough, or should i just go with a 2.4 and turbo that?

You can do whatever you want if you have enough money. If your looking for some bolt on kit that doesn't exist yet. You will need a standalone enigine management system if you wanna do something as drastic as that.

You could always wait for a reliable twincharged setup for the 2.0...

Well check out the GM ecotec build book. It has tons of info on suppliers ect. You have to piece everything together yourself, but they have most of the stuff sourced.

Here is the link to the build book.

Yeah it's all a question of how easy the install is going to be (Gravana had to reroute a bunch of stuff to get theirs in) and what the long-term effect is but the engine itself can handle it.
