Muffler inlet/outlet question
Muffler inlet/outlet question
I am buying a Dynomax Super Turbo muffler. Part #17748, it is 2.5", and it says offset/center. (I believe this is the largest 2.5" Super Turbo they make).
My question - Does it matter which side I use for the inlet? I'm fairly sure it doesn't, but I know glass-packs can be "reversed" for different sounds.
Lastly, would a offset/offset be quieter than a offset/center? I read somewhere it might make it quieter.
Thank you guys

What was the part number of yours? I want the biggest one in 2.5" that I can get!
Is it quiet? Are you catless?
The one your buying will be fine. I have a dynomax superturbo ofset/centre muffler and it fit with no issues. The sound is good to not raspy or loud. Post a vid once you get it installed.
It's very quiet cruising and at low rpms, from 3-3.5k there is a rasp due to being catless. When I lay on it, it barks pretty good.
i bought it used on amazon. its a magnaflow 11216. i saw this vid on a ls
