IS my cat clogged

Just trying to figure out if my cat is clogged or not.

I was doing some tuning last night, right around 7k I am making 17.55 psi of boost according to HP Tuners.

I have a 2.7 pulley, K&N intake, Hahn shorty header, and custom 2.5" downpipe w/cat and exhaust.

I just installed the N2MB box, and am wondering how long it will take before my cat is clogged..

I won't have time to remove it before next Wed when I am hoping to hit the track again, weather permitting.

Kevin

17.5psi on a 2.7" pulley seems normal. do you know your elevation where you're located? what was the temperature?

When my cat was clogged you couldn't hear my exhaust at all really and I held like 24psi of boost on a 3.0 pulley, felt like I was going nowhere and the s/c sounded like a sad gopher. My flex in the stock dp got a hole in it and made an air escaping sound in boost also.
So unless you're experiencing anything like that then no.

Thanks guy, the temp was about 50 degrees last night, and I am guesing around 1000 to 1500ft elevation where I was doing the runs.

I just hope I don't clog it before I can make some runs at the track.

17.5psi on a cool night, and at your elevation is perfectly normal for the mods you have.

Get rid of your cat. I blew a hole through mine gm gae me a new 1 came home n removed it. Never had a problem since. On our cars the cat clogs very easily to me its not worth having.

I plan on getting rid of it soon, I just won't have time before I hit the track, and wanted to make sure I don't waste a trip to the drag strip.
