My Cobalt Makes 267whp
well u make more power by going lean which would explain the good numbers. but is it the kit that sets it at 13 or is it his tuning? i guess if it stays he will be ok, but it is stressing out the engine. 13 a/f with 18psi on that is a lot of pressure for that engine, especially if he plans on using nitrus.
what happens when the temp drops and it naturally runs even leaner. i have a fully built NA motor and 12.8 is as lean as i will get. just expressing my concern, great numbers, but be careful.

(To be only used on the MAP sensor AFTER the blower, since we cannot mess up with the MAP sensore before the blower, because it will immediatly throw some codes). Just read the service manual set, the MAP2 sensor is used to scale all the air/fuel/timing model.
About the MAF translator setting at mid RPM's, did you scale the MAF more or less ? Mine seems to be not easy to tune ...

Again, why put more stress on the car and dyno in overdrive.

and have you guys come up with connectors for the injectors or the maf-t?
do you know what settings his maf-t was at??

Also this just shows there really is no difference in the '06's and the '05's once mods start...(unless bdwarr is an '06 pretty sure he is '05)

If you guys claim there is no difference between 3rd and 4th then why don't you run the car in 4th gear then? It is the closest to 1:1 so why cheat yourself by getting false numbers? Even if it is only a couple HP.
It is the closest by like 0.07....big deal. Don't quote the GM website cause as i have been shown it is WRONG. If you want to get **** why don't you do like i have suggested before and do a 3rd and 4th and use the weighted avg....but or a 0.07 dif in distance from 1:1 what is the point...

this kit keeps geting better and better!!!!!!! i plan on buying the parts except for the pully and geting a 2.7 from doug at billet flow.
have you guys sorced a connecter or do you still have to splice and soder wires???

I believe there is a boost/timing issue that causes the jump in HP between 3rd and 4th. If you look at my dyno it's almost spot on the same the entire rev range and at the very end of the rev range in 4th it knocks down a bit and there really where you lose the 10 HP.

i think something might be wrong with their dyno, because every dyno should cross hp and tq at 5500RPMs this one is alittle off maybe thats why its a dip.
I was hoping for higher numbers to, but there is a differance in the 05 to 06 pcm, if I was an 06 i would be around 280ish I would have to estimate. Remeber I have a CAI Rob when he hit his 270 did not have anything but the stock airbox
Don't forget the exhaust ports are so small (especially true when you're making more than 270 BHP) that any muffler or cat or piping would not make big HP gains ! But you can just remove your stock restrictive 2,25" muffler and you could gain 8-10 whp ! Any knock retard recorded or some hearable pinging noise ?

This crap of 3rd gear vs 4th gear is getting pathetic!! LISTEN REAL CLOSE AND CLEAR!!
We have proven they are within 2-3hp, NOW
Why would we subject our cars to longer abuse than necessary to accomplish our measurements!?? 3rd gear pulls are over faster and less stress do to heat build-up from lack of airflow accross the radiator and heat exchangers. We do the same thing in the w-bodies. I dyno'd my Impala in 2nd because it was over by 95mph. If i were to do it in 3rd, that would be TWICE as long and 151 MPH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried both, with-in 5hp!
Does it make sense yet??? In theory, 4th gear should be higher but do to our lower torque, it is to much stress on the drivetrain.
Once i get my hands on some tuning software LOOK OUT!! There is some major changes needed to wake this up and i'm waiting to tap into them!
