my intercooler pump

ok. so i think mine may be shot. i read a thread a dayor two ago talking about this, but it was somewhat unclear to me. heres the deal.
1. in the resevoir in the front of the engine, it bubbles when the car is running.
2. the car has been off for 6 hours and i just went outside and started to take the cap off of the resevoir and it began to shoot right up, but i tightened the cap back before it could come out.

so my question is, what do you guys think? any opinions on what i should do or anything else i could try to see if its broken? let me know if you think its broken by my description. thanks.

bump anyone?

Yes its working. it should BUBBLE instantly you start it.
Before I did the "Hammer mod" the car felt real sluggish. Everytime I shifted from 1st to 2nd the car hesitated and surged a bit. Sfter long periods on interstate couldnt tell nothing until I slowed down to a stp, then drive it felt like everything was stiff. Now smooth and plenty of power, easier shifts. Cant believe a part like that could cause an engine to blow. Hell mine is an 06. STUFF LIKE THIS SHOULDNT BE CRAPPING OUT SO SOON.

Doesn't...plenty of redlines had malfunctioning i/c pumps from the factory and didn't brick engines...just the temps get higher than they should.
