took it into the dealership to get the catalytic converter & steering column fixed & now they said they heard a knocking noise in my engine. they then called back & said the timing chain broke & a piece of it went into the head so I'm just wondering if that'll be under warranty cause i no thats gonna be a bitch to pay for if its not

 

If it broke while in there care then I would think they would pay for it.

 

"oh sweet, an ss! lets go take it out for a spin before we work on it!!!" ..... "uh oh"



did you happen to take a picture of the odometer before you took it in.

 

Make those ******* pay for it and threaten a lawsuit if you need to. They shouldnt have been beating on your car while in their possession. They are liable.

^no i didn't but i know I'm around 58,600 miles it just hit it so if it has anymore ill complain haha. it was already making a knocking sound my friend whose a mechanic checked it out first & said he heard something to so ill believe it plus its a pretty good dealership ill trust them. i just hate driving around in a damn captiva as a rental car lol

 

plus they called back today & said it should be covered under warranty so i hope it is haha if anything id just say throw in a new engine haha! if only that was possible
