well maybe. i assume most trans shops really don't know what exactly to do from car to car ya know.

i did do it with a new oem flywheel tho.

can i simply swap the existing gmpp and flywheel into the new trans or should i atleast get a new flywheel? i will do a new T.O.B. with this for peace of mind

Are you planning on pulling the motor? If you just swapping the trans simply unbolt trans, put new TOB in and bolt trans back up. No need to unbolt clutch or anything.

Get a clutch pipe, TOB and TTY bolts. Take the flywheel to somewhere local and have it resurfaced. Should be cheap and take about a half hour. I take mine to southbend clutch

ive never tried power shifting. (i.e., holding the shifter with all your weight while in gear and touching the clutch to have it pop into the next)

i just pull it out of gear and hold a small amount of pressure and it just slides right into the next without a clutch. i know the sweet spot and the time it takes for the rpm's to come down enough to do it

Don't shift without the clutch at WOT. Come on this isn't the 70's If you want to shift quicker...learn to shift quicker lol

If you do a lot of auto-x or road course racing or just rail a bunch of twisties you will notice the LSD. In a straight line, not really, but it will be nice to get something fresh in there.

I think once you get up there in the power level you would notice a difference with lsj vs non lsd

Either way you spin both if you are going straight on an even road. The difference will be minimal. Corners and turns are a different story though.
