Hey guys i was just wondering what is the best cleaner to use to clean the throttle bodys on this car? What is the best way to clean it?

 

just go to your local auto parts store and pick up a can of throttle body cleaner and remove the throttle body from the supercharger and give it a good scrubbing with a rag and the cleaner until it looks new again.

 

I find that a little spit and elbow grease works damn good. It polishes it well for free. Try a MAF cleaner or brake cleaner if you want to spend money. Also can use a little dremel or sand paper to polish it.

 

throw it in the washing machine with your whites... works wonders.














on a serious note:
I use a carb cleaner + wire brush. Keep the butterfly open with the rubber end of a screw driver if your paranoid. After your done brushing out the gunk give it a nice good spray rinse and let it dry. If you dont let it dry you may have a little issue with it starting until it dissipates.
