Need help deciding on axles

Ok so I need to upgrade axles on my TVSed 07 SS/SC. I've done some research on here but I have a specific question. I was thinking about picking up the drive shaft shop stage 2 axles (400 whp capable), BUT, I have heard that I can use the LNF axles as long as I use LNF hubs as well. Is this really true? And if so, is there anyone on here who has actually done it? Thanks in advance for your input. Oh yea, and at what WHP #'s are the LNF guys upgrading their axles?

EDIT: Dont want the ZZP stage 1's

That's what I did once already. Ended up broken down on the side of the road for an over an hour waiting on a tow. Got the axles replaced for free but I dont wanna have to be stuck on the side of the road or have to wait for a tow or go thru the axle installation process over and over again. Especially when I've been breaking about one every 7 - 8 weeks or so

Sounds like you don't want to hear any option but the LNF ones, so....

Get some LNF axles and hubs lol.

Check with Powell, he has a ton of information on what is needed for the conversion. ZZP could help out as well i'm sure, I believe they are running the LNF parts on thier LSJ shop car.

No it sounds like I wanna hear from someone that has done or knows someone personally that has done the LNF axles and hub swap on a LSJ and I wanna hear at what WHP the LNF guys are switching their axles at. I know it kinda of a long shot but gotta find out before I spend $800 at DSS or before I do the LNF swap thing and find out that wasnt the thing to do

I agree with this guy. I'll part with mine for a few hundred less than the $800 they are new. 4k miles on them.

I was really considering yours but given the issues I've had I want new for warranty reasons. And for only a few hundred less, might as well get em new IMO

I'm fairly sure none or very few TC people have had to upgrade their axles.

......if you're breaking stage 1 axles on a monthly basis with 300hp you're doing it wrong

I bought the zzp stage 3 setup. I was told by zzp that with what i wanted constant abuse on the DSS 2 would not be enough. Keep in mind you buy this and all the stress will go somewhere else. If you dont mind replacing your trans right now then by all means go ahead.

DSS=800ish no warranty
ZZP 1200ish lifetime warranty

I decided to go zzp due to the warranty. Go napa and just replaced them as they break or go zzp with the warranty.
