need help! with ic pump

Today I decided to check my coolant in my supercharger cooling system I didn't see anything so I added some.water till i could see it, I turned the car on and looked in and it didn't seem to be flowing

Now how do I check if my ic pump is bad, should I see coolant running through?

And should the pump be running all the time? Or does it come on after a little while?

If its just sitting there then the pump is dead. When the pump is working the coolant will bubble

Yup. Just knock it with a rubber hammer a few times... that'll do the trick for a few months. I have to hit mine every 4 - 5 months....
