To address the last few posters:

ZZPerformance is a multi-million dollar company occupying 3 buildings with over 20 guys working on parts. We own about a dozen vehicles we develop on, produce parts for many companies in industries we don't have involvement in. Examples would be the Toyota turbo kits displayed at Sema or the weapons used at the restaurant medieval times. Both manufactured by ZZP and private labeled. We do projects like that all the time, many of which I have no involvedment in.

We are regularly appoached by GM racing, Eaton, other vendors and individuals to tap into our capabilities. We are one of the only companies in the country to own a supercharger dyno. We own a laser cutter capable of doing full size sheets of metal, a stamping press, mandrel bender, sheet metal break, 3 CNC mills, a CNC lathe, a room full of tig welders, and many, many more things. On top of that I own a sister company Fusion auto sales that buys and sells cars and used parts, we're partnered wtih an electronics company that occupies a building I own and designed the ICCU, AFC, speedo recalibrator, the industry's only O2 sim and the list goes on and on.

Furthermore, we drop ship for many vendors you people on here buy from. It's humorous when we see people say ZZP sucks and then see that same person's order come through from another company we drop ship for. The ideas around this forum crack me up sometimes, like were a rinky dink operation or the notion that I as an individual could possibly be in control of the entire show. Obviously some people have no clue as the scale operation ZZPerformance is. We ship all over the world and supply a lot of companies in Australia with their 3800 parts. We are the only company in the world offering an aluminum head for the 3800 platform, which we designed and did everything ourselves save for the casting because we don't own a foundry...yet

Some projects I have no involvement in, some I have a lot but never am I machining products or writing CAD files. I'm more into market analysis, delegatings tasks and looking for new business ventures. So please understand, if you send me a personal email and ask a question like "did you get my core return", I'm not going to have any clue. I don't work in ZZP like that. I'm in my office doing other things. Now this doesn't mean I don't want to help but you guys need to understand that the larger a company is, the less an owner has to do with the day to day happenings.

On the spacers, we make them out of aluminum and Nylon and phenolic for many applications. 3400, 3800 in gen 3, 3800 for gen 5, Neon, Ecotec, possibly a few others. We also make adaptor plates. Gen 5 to Gen 3 for 3800, LS1 TB to 3800, N* TB to 3800 in both gen 5 and gen 3. There are probably others I'm forgetting. First a project conceived, then approved for production, then quantity determined after market analysis, then it goes to production, then packaging. Ususally at least 1 year supply. I don't have much involvement in those things except market analysis for quantity.

On this particular spacer for the Ecotec, I did not design it but I did present the idea for it's production. I can say from looking at our page http://www.zzperformance.com/cobalt_...=885&catid=143
that it appears to not come with a gasket. Best way would be to email customer service. I can also say that the poster above is either mistaken or flat out lying when he says it's not tapped. This market is a little frustrating, not because of our failures or angry customers, but because so many people choose to flat out lie about ZZP in a desperate attempt to drag down our company. It's like the people to claimed Obama was a Muslim cause they didn't like him. I have no problem with you not liking ZZP, I do have a problem with people making up lies about our company simply because they have an issue for whatever reason. Poster above says we make one spacer, it's simply not true, we make over a dozen. Another poster says ours isn't tapped, again a mistruth. It clearly states on our page that there are two npt ports in it.

Finally, I'm not a fan of censoring or locking threads. I believe people should be able to speak their minds, even when they are lying. However, I also believe that a vendor should not be held to any rules of conduct that customers are not willing to follow themselves. So carry on, and I will defend ZZP when needed and hopefully it will only be a few more months of me having to do this until things settle down around here and we are well known as a reputable vendor....

**Edit to add comment about the upcoming 3 gauge pod. Please stop emailing us about this. It's not available and all the information we have is posted on our site. It should be released shortly but I do not have an exact date.

The "poster above" says he has a problem with people making lies about his company. I didnt make up lies, I mispoke, unintenionally. My information came directly from the ZZP website as I am not familiar with their prodcut, I searched for "spacer" on the Cobalt page, and one popped up. ZZP does indeed however offer other spacers(not for the ECOtec) and each of these states whether or not it requires gaskets, the CObalt product does not.

Regardless of the capabilites, size, mission or any other metric used to categorize your company the issue of your general attitude and type of response to this and other queries is still poorly chosen words at best and when viewed in conjunction with your "wagers"(regardless of the outcome or reasons for them) in other foums/threads clearly exhibits what few people would consider acceptable actions for an SEO of a multimillion dollar company.

so Maven well said but lets all chill and have a Merry Christmas.
But I will add that most folks will make a choice of vendor based on personal experience, word of mouth, webinformation, and this post. I wont be chosing ZZP products based on what I have read here from the SEO of the company....

I have emailed customer service a dozen times but they never respond. I have recieved a few of their products before and they are good quality. All im asking is that could someone please respond to my emails. I have a bunch of money to spend on parts but if they aren't returning my emails, thats definately not something that i wanna risk with my hard earned money. So please zzp just tell me if it does require a gasket let me know, if it doesnt then i will purchase it, either way. Im just looking for an answer, not trying to call anyone out.

If you look at Zoomers long post about all the machines he has and the renaissance armoury he produces youll fins your answer kinda snuck in their. Its not likely that it comes with gaskets.

the spacer goes between the TB and the S/C. The S/C itself has an o ring, so of course it will need a gasket between the spacer and the TB thats common sense. Imagine the air leak without it, and the havoc that would play, on the pressure side of the TB! I say again OTTP for all your needs good fair prices, great customer service and no BS...
