Question Need Help With Random Misfire Codes

About a week ago a got a new clutch and flywheel installed. The flywheel is a light weight aluminum one. Alot lighter then stock. My issue is that ever sense i had the new clutch installed i seem to be getting random missfire codes. The mechanic that i had scan the code said that my car needs a crank sensor relearn because of the new light weight aluminum flywheel. Is that possible ?? And i know some are gonna ask. Normally the code comes on at idle. Not always, but mostly. My fuel filter is less then a year old. And my plugs are about a full year old. They are stock Gm replacement plugs. when i opened the box they said pregapped. I cheched them. They are or i should say where at about .42-.44 inch gap. I had no problems with codes untill the new clutch. I am running the gm stage II. Thats really about it for mods per say. I dont have my cold air on right now. Just the air box mod. Any thoughts as to if the mechanic is right that my car needs a case relearn to avoid the random misfire code ??

Thanks !

Thats weird ? So then would a case relearn for the crank position sensor fix the issue of the car triggering engine lights every other day for a random misfire code ?

Get an interceptor so you can reset it on the fly
Just keep in mind, My dual interceptors CAUSE
me to get occasionaly the random P0300
Dont know how but they do.
If I check codes with my reader im good
Plug in the interceptors anad use them
to check codes.. P0300 every time.

^it's possible, and those gaps do seem a bit large.. try .039" instead, I know mine is about .036"

yeah, i was going to suggest somewhere in the .035 area. sounds like case relearn might be needed too.
