Need a little head...
Is anyone running a performance head? I did a search but came up with nothing.
The only head i have found is a patriot-performance head for the 2.2L
But it will work with our cars i just want to know if it would be worth the $1300 or if there is something out there that is made for the ss/sc's.

GM Performance Parts makes a head that is good up to about 320HP and then J-Body Performance makes staged head upgrade kits from 1-3.
Go to www.jbodyperformance.com if you wanna look just go under cobalt/redline and you should see where it is says cylinder head.

Not cheap but check them out. I think a couple of guys have them but I am not sure if they are on this forum. I am going with their stage 3 one but I won't be able to comment till my engine is done.
