Need a stock down pipe

Right off my header flange the flex pipe blew (lmao) sounds like a beast and sound like **** at the same time. It's not even connected to the header flange anymore. I'm looking for a STOCK down pipe, I am in DIRE need of one!! Let me know what you want for it. I really don't have too much to spend.

My buddy Brian said it would only be covered if the cat was clogged. I jus have no clue why they wouldn't warranty it. I have gmpp major guard up to 100k miles. I'm only at 62300. So confused... but I also have gm stg2 with 2.9 pulley, intake, sportlines and magnaflow catback.

Find a local muffler shop and have them weld in a flex joint

Well I meant taking the RPMS to high all the time

The way they worded it to me. was just because you rev limiter is set at 6500 doesnt mean you can take it that high all the time and if you do things like this is going to happen

That's a bullshit reason. Fight it. This is clearly causing an emissions issue so it has to be taken care of. I don't understand dealerships. Gm pays for the warranty work, why are they so difficult?

The stock downpipe comes with a high flow cat.

It's just more dense & has more cells. That's why the CEL pops up when you switch to an aftermarket cat.

Are the 2.0L SS/SC and 2.4L N/A downpipes the same? I think I may be able to help you. I don't remember if I have my old 2.4L downpipe anymore. I think I threw it away, but maybe not. If they're the same I can let you know if I still have it later on tonight.

Andrew I believe they are the same. But I can find out. My car is crazy loud and I don't have a lot of money right now. My ears hurt and my exhaust is hanging down. I really can't drive unless I need to.
