Hello all. My current set up is clear image header and 3in catless dp with stock piping all way back with a muffler can't remember the brand.. Anyways i always liked the sound of it was nice and deep and loud but wasn't raspy or sounded like a bee.

Just recently it started to sound horrible during pulls and when getting to high rpms. Sounds like a Honda and just really annoying.

I do have an aftermarket resonator as well but it's been replaced a few times so I think it's pretty cheap.

What could help me out with my sound? Don't know much about glass packs or exhaust in general. I do have stock muffler that I've been thinking about throwing back on there.

Well took it to my exhaust buddy. My muffled was some Aero brand? But it had been completely hollowed out. It has a magnaflow resonator and we put stock muffler back on. It sounds 100 times better but it sure felt like it has some "dog" in it now. Just doesn't feel as strong on WOT pulls as before. Could be just In my head but it really does feel weaker.

Anyway I'm just glad it is quieter now. These lsj's are hard to please in the exhaust department.

 

Get corsa sport catback from turbo tech racing. You and your lsj will be pleased...

Then pick up Vibrant Header / DP with it....It's a nice set up. TTR can hook you up with that as well!

 

the zzp cat back sounds alot better then the corsa

i really like the vibrant exhausts i have one on my cobalt and it has a nice sound and is rather quiet when u idle.

 

My Vibrant is amazing. Unmatched craftsmanship in my opinion. Awesome performance. They are on sale somewhere right now.

Nope. GMPP honed mani..... I know it sucks. Also a 3'' zzp catted dp

 

We sell many of those vibrant header/downpipe kits each week. Another good choice.

 

Corsa isn't discontuned. Just the touring.
