Unhappy New intake ideas?

I have a K&N intake on my cobalt right now but it has been rubbing against something and has worn a hole in it. I was wondering what the best replacement is? I was looking at zzp's 3" intake but i want to make sure i wont need a retune just for a slightly bigger intake. also would i feel any differance in performance and will the blower be louder? Halp me

I'm using the K&N filter and have the same fit issues. It hits an edge of the PCM. Let me know once you install the ZZP if it fits without issues.

ZZP's intake is the ****, I went from an Injen that gave me issues and would suck water everytime it rained. I have had zero issues with my ZZP, it sits in just the right spot so no water drips on it. I put a pre-filter/hydro shield on it just to be sure but it's worth every penny and it makes the s/c whine sound better!!

Ive ran both the K&N Typhoon and the ZZP 3" Intake.

Like you I had to ditch the Typhoon because of clearnce issues.

Comparatvily the ZZP 3" and the Typhoon dynoed the same in my car.

At the time with my other mods being the same, only diffrence being the Intake, both dynoed at 232 whp w/ 17psi boost.
